{"id":639,"date":"2025-11-04T16:16:41","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T16:16:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digitalwarta.live\/?p=639"},"modified":"2025-11-04T16:18:27","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T16:18:27","slug":"union-minister-for-law-justice-shri-arjun-ram-meghwal-to-deliver-keynote-address-at-bahrain-conference-on-international-dispute-resolution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/digitalwarta.live\/?p=639","title":{"rendered":"Union Minister for Law &amp; Justice Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal to Deliver Keynote Address at Bahrain Conference on International Dispute Resolution"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>New Delhi 04 Nov. :<\/strong> The Hon\u2019ble Union Minister of Law and Justice, <strong>Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal<\/strong>, will represent <strong>India<\/strong> at the prestigious <strong>King Hamad Lecture for Neutral Justice Ceremony<\/strong> and the <strong>Conference on the Future of International Commercial Courts<\/strong>, scheduled to be held in the <strong>Kingdom of Bahrain<\/strong> on <strong>November 5\u20136, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organized by the <strong>Council for International Dispute Resolution (CIDR) of the Kingdom of Bahrain<\/strong>, under the patronage of the <strong>Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments<\/strong>, the conference will bring together leading jurists, global experts, and policymakers to deliberate on the future of international commercial courts and transnational dispute resolution systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the conference, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal will deliver the <strong>Keynote Address<\/strong> on the theme <strong>\u201cPromoting Commerce Between Bahrain and India\u201d<\/strong> in a special session titled <strong>\u201cBahrain\u2013India: Pathways Towards Successful Commerce.\u201d<\/strong> The distinguished panel will include <strong>Justice Surya Kant<\/strong>, Judge, Supreme Court of India; <strong>Prof. Marike Paulsson<\/strong>, Secretary-General, CIDR Bahrain; and <strong>Dr. Pinky Anand<\/strong>, Senior Advocate, India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his address, the Union Minister is expected to highlight <strong>India\u2019s progressive legal and institutional reforms<\/strong> that aim to enhance the <strong>efficiency, transparency, and global credibility<\/strong> of the nation\u2019s commercial dispute resolution mechanisms. He will underscore India\u2019s commitment to promoting a fair, neutral, and efficient framework for transnational commercial justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minister will also reaffirm India\u2019s willingness to collaborate closely with the <strong>Council for International Dispute Resolution of Bahrain<\/strong> and the <strong>India International Arbitration Centre (IIAC)<\/strong> to foster institutional arbitration and mediation frameworks. This collaboration will include the <strong>exchange of best practices<\/strong>, <strong>capacity-building programs<\/strong>, and <strong>mutual recognition of arbitral awards<\/strong>, thereby strengthening the global ecosystem of commercial justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India\u2019s participation at this high-level global forum reflects its <strong>growing leadership role in international arbitration<\/strong> and its consistent efforts to make commercial justice <strong>accessible, effective, and globally harmonized<\/strong>.
