The event brought together eminent scientists, innovators, and entrepreneurs who discussed cutting-edge technologies shaping India\u2019s innovation ecosystem and industrial future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pioneering a Technologically Empowered Bharat<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The plenary session on Advanced Materials &amp; Manufacturing was chaired by <strong>Dr. (Mrs) N. Kalaiselvi<\/strong>, Director General, CSIR and Secretary, DSIR.<br>In her address, Dr. Kalaiselvi emphasized that <em>science, research, and advanced materials form the three foundational pillars of Viksit Bharat 2047.<\/em> She highlighted that advancements in materials science, clean energy, biotechnology, and emerging technologies will define India\u2019s growth trajectory in the coming decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWith CSIR and India\u2019s premier scientific institutions leading cutting-edge research, the nation is building a future that is self-reliant, innovation-driven, and technologically empowered,\u201d<br>said Dr. Kalaiselvi.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>She noted that ESTIC 2025 acts as a dynamic platform where <em>ideas, science, and advanced technologies intersect<\/em> \u2014 accelerating India\u2019s transition to a knowledge-powered economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From Matter to Materials: The Age of Precision Innovation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Delivering the keynote address, <strong>Prof. Giridhar Udapi Rao Kulkarni<\/strong>, Former President of JNCASR, Bengaluru, explained the transformative evolution <em>\u201cfrom matter to materials\u201d<\/em> \u2014 moving beyond raw elements to engineered structures crafted for precision and performance.<br>Highlighting India\u2019s journey from the <em>Stone Age mindset to the Age of Technology<\/em>, Prof. Kulkarni said that materials science is driving innovations across semiconductors, composites, and smart polymers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWith nano-scale precision, shape control, and dimensional engineering, science can accelerate India\u2019s manufacturing revolution,\u201d he noted, outlining the continuum \u2014 <em>Science \u2192 Innovation \u2192 Manufacturing \u2192 Product.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Industry Leaders Spotlight Indigenous Innovation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The session also featured powerful presentations from leaders across sectors driving India\u2019s technological transformation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Shri Pawan Kumar Chandana<\/strong>, <em>Co-founder &amp; CEO, Skyroot Aerospace, Hyderabad<\/em>, spoke on <em>\u201cElevating Aerospace: The Frontier of Advanced Composites and 3D Printing.\u201d<\/em><br>He revealed that <strong>Skyroot Aerospace<\/strong> is developing <em>India\u2019s first all-carbon launch vehicle, Vikram-1<\/em>, symbolizing indigenous innovation and engineering excellence in the private space sector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Smt. Rajashri Teli<\/strong>, <em>Managing Director, Innovative Projects Pvt. Ltd., Pimpri<\/em>, delivered a talk titled <em>\u201cFrom Blueprint to Breakthrough: When Precision Becomes a National Duty.\u201d<\/em><br>She emphasized the importance of design accuracy, sustainability, and <em>women-led leadership<\/em> in manufacturing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prof. T. Pradeep<\/strong>, <em>IIT Madras, Chennai<\/em>, presented <em>\u201cMatter Dreams at Scale: Creating the Future of Materials,\u201d<\/em> focusing on scalable nanotechnologies for <em>clean water solutions<\/em> and <em>sustainable innovations<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prof. B. S. Murty<\/strong>, <em>Raman Research Institute, Bengaluru<\/em>, spoke on <em>\u201cBuilding India\u2019s Quantum Edge,\u201d<\/em> showcasing advances in <em>semiconductor design, photonics,<\/em> and <em>quantum computing<\/em> that are propelling India toward a quantum-ready future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CSIR Leading India\u2019s Innovation Frontier<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful conclusion of the ESTIC 2025 session reaffirmed <strong>CSIR\u2019s commitment<\/strong> to advancing India\u2019s scientific and technological frontiers.
