Prof. Dr. Manendra Kumar<\/strong>, an eminent educationist and environmental biologist from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, has been conferred the <strong>\u201cAshoka National Lifetime Achievement Award 2025\u201d<\/strong> under the <strong>Education Excellence &amp; Social Impact<\/strong> category. The prestigious recognition was presented by <strong>Blue Star Event, Nashik<\/strong>, in acknowledgment of his unparalleled contributions to higher education, research, and social welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Manendra Kumar, born on <strong>15th January 1957<\/strong>, has devoted over <strong>43 years<\/strong> to the field of education and research. A renowned scholar and former <strong>Dean, Faculty of Science<\/strong>, <strong>Head of the Department of Zoology<\/strong>, and <strong>Director, UGC-HRDC<\/strong> at <strong>B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur<\/strong>, Dr. Kumar has guided many Ph.D. scholars and authored <strong>11 academic books<\/strong> and <strong>more than 100 research papers<\/strong> published in reputed national and international journals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His specialized research in <strong>Entomology, Plant Protection, and Environmental Sciences<\/strong>\u2014particularly his pioneering work on <strong>biopesticide-based control of litchi fruit borers<\/strong>\u2014has immensely benefited agricultural and environmental sustainability efforts in North Bihar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Kumar has been the recipient of <strong>over 100 national and international awards<\/strong>, including the <strong>Mahatma Gandhi Award<\/strong>, <strong>Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Peace Award<\/strong>, <strong>Pride of Asia International Award<\/strong>, and <strong>International Education Excellence Award<\/strong>.
