Nashik (Jan.05) : The 4th Suvichar Gaurav Award Ceremony, organized by Suvichar Manch, was successfully held at the Mahakavi Kalidas Kalamandir in Nashik, with the distinguished presence of Hon. Ajitdada Pawar, the State Deputy Chief Minister. The event was graced by the attendance of Chhagan Bhujbal, Maharashtra State Minister for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection, who, along with other dignitaries, presented awards to outstanding individuals.
The ceremony honored renowned personalities across various domains with the coveted Suvichar Gaurav Awards. Padmashri Suresh Wadkar received the Lifetime Award, Gaurav Chopra was recognized for his contributions to art, and special awards were bestowed upon Mrs. Akshaya Deodhar and actor Hardik Joshi. Other recipients included Shri. Ramchandrabapu Patil (Social), Dr. Bhausaheb More (Medical), Dr. Shefalitai Bhujbal (Academic), Shri. Datta Patil (Literature), Shri. Chandrasekhar Singh (Industry), and Smt. Gauri Ghatol (Sports).
Expressing gratitude, Suvichar Gaurav emphasized the significance of the award within Nashik and across Maharashtra. He lauded the efforts of Aakash Pagar and his team, alongside other organizations, for their initiatives in preventing pollution in Nashik’s Godavari and preserving the city’s cultural essence.
Artists from Nashik captivated the audience with collective dances and songs in Marathi and Hindi, adding a cultural flair to the ceremony. The distinguished gathering included Vice President Narahari Jirwal, MLAs Dilip Bunkar and Dilip Borse, General Secretary of Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj Advt. Nitin Thackeray, Balasaheb Kshirsagar, Vishnupant Mhaisdhune, Laxman Savji, Rajendra Dokhale, Youth City President Ambadas Khaire, Dr. Swapnil Torane, Prof. Vinod Gorwadkar, Prof. Dr. Prashant Suryavanshi, and Suvichar Manch Adv. Ravindra Pagar and Akash Pagar.
