Dhubri, Assam:
In a proud moment for Assam’s education sector, Ayub Uddin Ahmed, Head Teacher of 190 No. Bethbari LP School under Chirakuta Cluster, Chapar Education Block, Dhubri district, has been honoured with the prestigious Rashtriya Shiksha Ratna Samman 2025 by Global Icons of India e-Magazine.

Serving the field of education since 16 March 2006, Ahmed has devoted nearly two decades to strengthening lower primary education in rural areas. Known for his child-centric, activity-based and culturally rooted teaching methods, he has successfully made learning meaningful and enjoyable for young students. His sustained efforts led to increased enrolment, reduced dropout rates and consistent academic excellence.

Under his guidance, the school achieved A and A+ grades in Assam’s Gunotsav assessments, while many students qualified in CMSS and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya entrance examinations, bringing recognition to the institution and the region.

Beyond academics, Ahmed is also a committed social worker and folk singer, actively promoting social awareness and cultural values. The national honour recognises his outstanding contribution to education, community development and nation-building through inclusive and value-based learning.
