New Delhi,04 Nov. : The Vice-President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, will visit Chhattisgarh on November 4–5, 2025, marking his first visit to the State after assuming office. During this visit, he will participate in a series of significant public events in Nava Raipur and Rajnandgaon, including the Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav, celebrating 25 years of the State’s formation.
After completing his official engagements in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, the Vice-President will arrive in Raipur this evening.
On November 5, 2025, Shri Radhakrishnan will be accorded a Guard of Honour at Raj Bhavan, Raipur, followed by witnessing an Air Show by the Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) at Sendh Lake, Nava Raipur. The Suryakiran team, formed in 1996, is renowned for its precision formations and awe-inspiring aerial maneuvers.
Later in the day, the Vice-President will inaugurate the Udayachal Multi-Speciality Eye Care Institute in Rajnandgaon, aimed at advancing specialized healthcare services in the region.
He will also grace the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan in Rajnandgaon as the Chief Guest, an event celebrating the empowerment and entrepreneurial success of women self-help groups under various livelihood missions.
In the evening, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan will attend the Closing Ceremony of the Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav in Nava Raipur as the Chief Guest, marking the culmination of the State’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The Vice-President’s visit underscores the Government of India’s commitment to supporting regional development, women’s empowerment, healthcare advancement, and recognizing the spirit of Chhattisgarh’s journey over the past 25 years.
