New Delhi, December 4, 2025 : The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), India will hold the Human Rights Day function at Auditorium 1, Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi at 10:00 AM on 10 December 2025. The Hon’ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. NHRC+1
A National Conference on “Ensuring Everyday Essentials: Public Services and Dignity for All” will follow the function. The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. P. K. Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, who will join as the Conference’s Chief Guest. The Conference will feature two thematic sessions with eminent speakers deliberating on universal, equitable and dignified access to public services as a cornerstone of human rights. NHRC
Participants will include representatives from State Human Rights Commissions, other national commissions, government officials (Centre and States/UTs), human rights defenders, civil society organisations, academia, professionals, and members of the media. NHRC

Online registration will remain available until 10:00 AM on 9 December 2025; confirmed registrants will receive e-invites via email.
