Jamshedpur, Jharkhand | 10 Nov. 2025: In a moment of great pride for the academic community, Hon. Dr. Prabhat Kumar Pani, an eminent educationist and seasoned academic administrator, has been conferred the prestigious “Ashoka National Lifetime Achievement Award 2025” by Blue Star Event, Nashik for his remarkable contributions to Education Excellence and Social Impact.
With an illustrious career spanning 39 years, Dr. Pani has established himself as one of India’s most respected scholars in the fields of Finance and Management. A First-Class-First M.Com. graduate from Sambalpur University and a Gold Medal nominee, he went on to earn his Ph.D. in Commerce from Ranchi University. His academic journey reflects a lifelong commitment to research, teaching, and educational leadership.
Dr. Pani’s scholarly achievements include:
- Guiding 10 Ph.D. scholars to successful completion
- Publishing 24 research and text books of national standing
- Authoring 41 research articles, including 14 in ISO/UGC certified, peer-reviewed, indexed international journals
- Presenting 52 research papers across national conferences, plenary sessions, and academic workshops
- Successfully completing two UGC-sponsored Minor Research Projects
Beyond academics, Dr. Pani has held key administrative positions demonstrating exceptional leadership and integrity. He served as Controller of Examinations at Kolhan University for six years, Finance Officer for three years, and also handled additional charge at Jamshedpur Women’s University. He is currently serving as the Vice-Chancellor of Netaji Subhas University, Jamshedpur, where his vision continues to inspire institutional growth and academic excellence.
Dr. Pani is also associated with various prestigious bodies, including the Indian Commerce Association, International Society of Management (AISM), and the United Writers’ Association of India (FUWAI). He is a member of the Editorial Board of the international journal Advances in Management.
