New Delhi | 6 January 2026 : The Chairperson of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), Ravi Mittal, launched the Post Graduate Insolvency Programme (PGIP) website of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), while presiding as the Chief Guest at a special event held at the IICA campus on Monday.
Addressing the students, Shri Ravi Mittal assured them of strengthened institutional support and announced that efforts would be made to provide one-year internship opportunities at IBBI to a few selected PGIP students. He further informed that students inclined towards research could apply for an upcoming IBBI research programme, under which selected candidates may get an opportunity to work on the rolls of IBBI.
The welcome address was delivered by Gyaneshwar Kumar Singh, Director General and CEO, IICA, who reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to capacity building, academic excellence, and sustained engagement with regulators and industry stakeholders.
During the programme, Sudhaker Shukla, Head of the Centre for Insolvency and Bankruptcy, IICA, presented an overview of the PGIP Centre’s activities and achievements, highlighting its academic rigour, strong industry interface, and expanding alumni network.
The newly launched PGIP website is a dedicated digital platform aimed at connecting alumni with current students. It will facilitate continuous interaction, knowledge sharing, collaborative problem-solving, and enhanced industry exposure through active alumni engagement.
In an interactive session, students expressed appreciation for IICA’s continuous support, noting opportunities to participate in conclaves, seminars, and meaningful interactions with industry experts, which have significantly enriched their academic and professional journey.
The launch marks another step towards strengthening insolvency and bankruptcy education in India and fostering closer collaboration between academia, regulators, and the industry.
