Sydney (Australia): 11-year-old Vihan Gaikwad from Aurangabad along with Jyoti Ratre from Bhopal, Rahul and Supriya Gaikwad from Bhopal and Everester Anand Bansode scaled Mount Kozhikode, the highest peak in the continent of Australia and hoisted the Indian tricolor on the summit. Team 360 Explorer reached the summit on October 20 at 11 am. Earlier in 2014, Anand had climbed the 10 highest peaks in Australia, the “Aussie-10” i.e. the 10 highest peaks in the continent of Australia. Anand led the first Indian team to scale these peaks in 2014.
54-year-old Jyoti Ratre from Bhopal is on a mission to climb 7 highest peaks in 7 continents through 360 Explorer. So far, he has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Elbrus, Mount Akancagua, and Everest up to 8200 meters under the guidance of Everest veteran Anand Bansode. 54-year-old Jyoti has set a role model for many women by climbing the world’s highest peaks at this age.
11-year-old Vihan Gaikwad hails from Aurangabad and climbed the summit with his parents Rahul and Supriya Gaikwad. Vihan Gaikwad is the grandson of retired bank manager Ramesh Gaikwad who lives in CIDCO Colony in Aurangabad and the whole of Maharashtra is proud of this achievement.
Rubik’s Cube solved in 42 seconds at the top-
11-year-old Vihan has set a new record by solving a Rubik’s Cube in 42 seconds on the highest peak in the continent of Australia. Vihan has been practicing the Rubik’s Cube for the past 3 years and has managed to do it in just 42 seconds after reaching the top.
