Latur Dt. 13th July (Reporter) – A workshop on skill and personality development was organized by the Gymkhana Department and Student Counseling and Employment Cell of Vilasrao Deshmukh College of Agricultural Biotechnology.

The event was inaugurated by the college’s Dean, Dr. Babasaheb Thombre, who served as the program’s chairperson. The chief guest was Dr. Angad Suryavanshi, Principal of Agricultural College, Dongarshelki, Udgir, and the keynote speaker was the renowned motivational speaker and Director of IE Center Pro, Mr. Nagesh Jondhale. Other notable attendees included Prof. Rahul Survase and Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Vishnu Rode.

The program began with the lighting of the lamp.Dr. Babasaheb Thombre emphasized that discipline, dedication, commitment, and determination are essential for success. By focusing on personality development, students can enhance the quality of their lives.

Keynote speaker Mr. Nagesh Jondhale encouraged students to develop social skills, emotional intelligence, leadership qualities, and effective communication alongside their academic studies. He stressed that mastering these skills during college life helps build confidence and maturity, leading to greater success. Dr. Angad Suryavanshi advised students to accept themselves, take pride in their achievements, and maintain patience and self-confidence.The workshop concluded with remarks from guest speaker Dr. Dineshsingh Chauhan, who highlighted the importance of a diligent mindset, continuous effort, and goal orientation for success.

The workshop was deemed successful, and students like Sumit Tarek, Vaishnavi Dhandge, and Dr. Yogesh Bhagat expressed their positive feedback.The event was introduced by Gymkhana Vice-President Dr. Achyut Bharose, conducted by students Chandan Korde and Samruddhi Bharatpe, and concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Rahul Chavan. Faculty members including Dr. Sarika Bhalerao, Dr. Bhaskarrao Aglave, Dr. Mahendra Dudhade, Dr. Ramesh Dhavale, Dr. Vidya Hinge, Manisha Bagade, Surekha Ambatwad, Ashwini Garad, Veerbhadra Durugkar, and Sangeeta Sorekar were also present.
