Parents Should Encourage Students to Choose Careers of Their Interest: Sir Nagesh Jondhle

Ambajogai (Beed) : 15th June: In a significant step toward student empowerment, a grand Free Career Guidance Seminar and felicitation ceremony was organized on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the Adyakavi Mukundraj Cultural Hall, Ambajogai. This impactful event was a joint initiative by Nalanda Foundation, Beed and IE Foundation, Ambajogai, aimed at providing free and expert career counseling to students and celebrating excellence across educational and social domains.

The seminar addressed the pressing question faced by students and parents alike – What next after 10th, 12th, Diploma, or Graduation? Through this initiative, students received career guidance from field experts, empowering them to make informed decisions about their futures. The program was presided over by Prof. Pradeep Rode, Founder of Nalanda Foundation. Eminent personalities graced the dais, including Dr. Babasaheb Thombre, Associate Dean and Principal of College of Agriculture, Latur; Sir Nagesh Jondhle, Founder of IE Centre Pro and renowned motivational speaker; Rajendra Ghodke, social activist; Adv. Rahul Bansode, legal expert from Nashik; and Prof. Ram Gaikwad from Beed.

The event began with tributes to national icons Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Savitribai Phule, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The introductory remarks were delivered by Dr. Vikas Waghmare, followed by the warm welcome of all dignitaries. Prestigious Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Rashtriya Sanman – 2025 awards were presented to individuals for their outstanding contributions: Jagan Sarvade (Social Work), Ranjit Dange (Journalism), Sir Nagesh Jondhle (Leadership and Nation Building), Dr. Kirtiraj Lonare and Principal Swati Trishok Wakle (Education), and Prof. Sunil Waghmare & Sumit Khot (Information Technology).

Further honors were presented by the Ideal Indian Book of Records to notable achievers like Dr. Babasaheb Thombre for planting over 30,000 trees, Shreya Poonam Dhole for writing 1,00,000 English sentences, and Pankaj Bhatkar for creating India’s first engraved nameplate in Dhamma script. IE Centre Pro was also felicitated for its historic initiative on 15 August 2024, led by Sir Nagesh Jondhle, where 395 Articles of the Indian Constitution were displayed and read aloud through a human chain, promoting unity and national awareness.

Student excellence was celebrated through the IE Centre Pro – Champion in Me Awards, which recognized Sanvi Gutte (1st), Vishweshwari Sardeshmukh (2nd), and Shreyash Tidke (3rd), along with several encouragement awardees. Similarly, the IE Centre Pro – Dynamic Communicator English Challenge honored confident English speakers who successfully completed the 31-day challenge. Winners included Maheshwari Sardeshmukh (1st), Samarth Sakhare (2nd), and Huzaifa Sheikh (3rd), with many others receiving special recognition.

While delivering the keynote, Prof. Pradeep Rode highlighted that the aim of the seminar was to build confidence in students and guide them toward the right path. He advised parents to avoid imposing their expectations and instead recognize their children’s unique talents and interests. He encouraged skill development, book reading over excessive mobile use, and emphasized the need to adapt to global career opportunities.

Dr. Thombre introduced the concept of the 3Ds – Dedication, Determination, and Devotion as the foundation for success. Sir Nagesh Jondhle, in his inspiring address, urged parents to communicate openly with their children, support their dreams, and avoid projecting their own unfulfilled aspirations onto them. He emphasized that in today’s competitive world of Artificial Intelligence, Fashion Designing, and Entrepreneurship, creating a supportive home environment is essential for students to excel.

The program witnessed the participation of over 200 meritorious students from urban and rural regions, along with citizens from educational and social sectors. These students were felicitated with books, certificates, and mementoes by the dignitaries. Parents were visibly emotional and proud, with many moved to tears as they witnessed their children being honored on such a prestigious platform for the first time.

The success of the program was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the entire Nalanda Foundation and IE Centre Pro teams, including Somnath Vibhute, Adv. Dilip Gore, Baliram Upade, Dhammadeep Vaidya, Akash Vede, Nitin Sarvade, Datta Ghodke, and many enthusiastic volunteers and supporters such as Jayashri Samse, Shankar Samse, Sakshi Karad, Mohini Gadkar, Yash Ingle, Adarsh Waghmare, Aditya Kale, Muktaram Karad, and Sushil Gadkar.

This landmark event received overwhelming support and enthusiastic participation from the citizens of Ambajogai city, surrounding talukas, and rural communities. It stands as a shining example of how collaborative efforts in education and guidance can lay strong foundations for the nation’s future.
